How Much Does Countertop Replacement Cost in Austin?

Most countertop replacement projects in Austin range from $4,500 to $9,500 depending on material, square footage, and edge profile selected. Premium materials like quartzite typically sit at the higher end of that range, while quartz and granite offer strong value across most budgets.

How Long Does Countertop Installation Take?

Most countertop installations are completed in one to three days from removal to final polish, once templating is complete and the material is fabricated. Because countertops are cut to the exact dimensions of your kitchen or bathroom, accurate templating before fabrication is what keeps the installation itself fast.

What Is the Countertop Installation Process?

The process begins with removal and haul off of your existing countertops, followed by precise templating and fitting to capture the exact dimensions of your cabinets and layout. The new quartz, granite, or quartzite countertop is then installed, with undermount sink and faucet installation available if needed, and seams are polished for a smooth, nearly invisible finish.

Should I Replace My Countertops With My Cabinets or Separately?

Many homeowners update countertops at the same time as new cabinets, cabinet refacing, or cabinet painting, since a full kitchen remodel makes it easier to match countertop color and edge profile to your new cabinet finish. However, countertops can also be replaced on their own if your cabinets are still in good shape and only the counter surface needs updating.

Do You Install Undermount Sinks and Faucets With New Countertops?

Yes, undermount sink cutouts and installation are available with every countertop project. Most homeowners provide their own faucet, which the team installs as part of the countertop project so everything is finished and functional in one visit.

Tyler and team did a great job, we were very happy. We changed out our countertops, repainted the cabinets, and they customized one of the bottom cabinets so we could add an ice maker. Good price and did it in only 8 days!

I couldn't be happier with the work that was done by Tyler and his crew at Austin Painting and Cabinets. We wanted to update our kitchen to be more modern and decided to 1) replace new countertops, 2) paint cabinets white, 3) install new backsplash and 4) paint interior. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and get brand new cabinets since mine are fairly new. Austin Painting and Cabinet specializes in painting your existing cabinets to look new. They did a really good job and far exceeded my expectations. I'm very happy with result and recommend Austin Cabinet and Painting to anyone who wants to update their Kitchen.
