Austin Kitchen Remodel in Circle C: Quartz, New Cabinets & Painted Island
Project Overview
This Austin kitchen remodel in the Circle C neighborhood focused on opening up the space and modernizing the layout with cleaner lines, updated cabinetry, and more functional design.
As part of our kitchen remodeling services , we removed bulky built-in elements and replaced them with a more streamlined setup. The perimeter cabinets were replaced with new shaker cabinets, while the existing island cabinets were professionally painted a custom color to create contrast and preserve part of the existing layout.
Before the Remodel
The original kitchen featured a large stone range surround and oven tower that made the space feel heavy and closed in, limiting both functionality and flow.
After the Remodel
By removing the oversized range surround and oven tower and replacing them with a slide-in range, the kitchen now feels much more open, modern, and functional.

Design Highlights
The biggest transformation in this Austin kitchen remodel came from removing the oversized stone range surround and oven tower. This change opened up the cooking area and created a cleaner, more modern layout.
The new shaker perimeter cabinets gave the kitchen a fresh foundation, while the painted island cabinets added contrast and allowed part of the existing cabinetry to be reused in a smart, intentional way.
The quartz countertops, matching backsplash, new hardware, and updated lighting tied the entire space together for a more polished and functional kitchen.
