Austin Bathroom Cabinet Refacing in Bouldin Creek

Project Overview

This Austin bathroom remodel in the Bouldin Creek neighborhood focused on updating the existing bathroom cabinets through bathroom cabinet refacing, professional cabinet painting, and a custom vanity modification.

The project included new shaker-style cabinet doors, soft-close hinges, soft-close drawer slides, new cabinet handles, and a professionally sprayed finish using Benjamin Moore OC-117 Simply White in a semi-gloss finish.

Before the Remodel

The original bathroom cabinets had outdated door styles and included an old laundry chute drawer that was no longer functional and took away from the appearance of the vanity.

After the Remodel

The finished bathroom feels brighter, cleaner, and more functional. By removing the outdated laundry chute drawer and building a larger cabinet door below it, the vanity gained both storage and a much cleaner appearance.

Design Highlights

Bathroom cabinet refacing is an excellent option when the cabinet boxes are still in good condition but the style and finish are outdated.

For this project, we also modified the vanity by removing the unused laundry chute drawer and building a larger cabinet door below it. Combined with the new shaker doors and Benjamin Moore Simply White finish, the bathroom now has a timeless, updated appearance.
