River Place Austin Kitchen Remodel with Custom Cabinets & Quartzite

Project Overview

This Austin kitchen remodel in the River Place neighborhood was a major transformation focused on opening up the kitchen, improving flow, and upgrading the space with custom design details.

As part of our kitchen remodeling services , this project included removing the pillars behind the island, installing a beam, adding new shaker cabinets painted a custom color, building a custom vent hood, installing quartzite countertops, tile backsplash, and completing full interior painting of the walls, ceilings, doors, and trim.

Before the Remodel

The original kitchen had pillars behind the island that visually separated the kitchen from the surrounding living space and made the layout feel more closed off.

After the Remodel

Removing the pillars and adding the beam helped open up the kitchen and create a much more connected layout. The custom cabinet color, quartzite countertops, and custom vent hood gave the kitchen a high-end, finished look.
