Southwest Austin Kitchen Remodel in Oak Hill

Project Overview

This Southwest Austin kitchen remodel in the Oak Hill neighborhood transformed an outdated kitchen into a modern, functional space with custom cabinetry, premium finishes, and a more open layout.

As part of our kitchen remodeling services, this project included custom cabinetry, 3cm Silestone Iconic Black quartz countertops, a custom tile backsplash, cabinet painting, and full interior painting.

Before the Remodel

The original kitchen had limited storage, a raised bar top behind the sink, and finishes that no longer fit the homeowners' style.

After the Remodel

Removing the raised bar top immediately opened the kitchen to the adjoining living space. The custom cabinetry, bold quartz countertops, and herringbone backsplash completely transformed the room into a modern, high-end kitchen.

Design Highlights

One of the biggest improvements was removing the raised bar top and replacing it with a single-level countertop, making the kitchen feel much larger and more connected to the living area.

Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace provided a crisp, timeless cabinet color that beautifully contrasts with the dramatic Silestone Iconic Black quartz countertops. The mixed glossy and matte Seaside tile backsplash installed in a herringbone pattern adds texture and visual interest without overwhelming the space.

To complete the transformation, the walls and ceilings were painted Benjamin Moore Gray Owl, creating a soft neutral backdrop that complements the cabinetry and countertops.
