South Austin Kitchen Remodel: Quartz, Cabinet Painting & Open Layout
Project Overview
This South Austin kitchen remodel focused on opening up the kitchen and updating the finishes while keeping the existing cabinet layout.
The project included removing the raised bar top behind the sink, cabinet painting , new quartz countertops and backsplash, new cabinet hardware, and an updated sink and faucet.
Before the Remodel
The original kitchen had a raised bar top that made the space feel more closed off and separated from the surrounding living area.
After the Remodel
Removing the raised bar top helped create a cleaner, more open layout. The painted cabinets, quartz countertops, backsplash, hardware, sink, and faucet gave the kitchen a much brighter and more updated look.
